Select Plugins > FSCharter > Status Window from X-Plane's menu to open the Select Aircraft window. It is recommended to for this menu command.
The Status window serves two main purposes:
to board (right after )
on your current flight.
A full list of all possible status is available .
After you selected an aircraft to fly you can select which passenger you want to board, as long as your parking brake is set and engines are off. Technically, this is optional. But only with passengers on board you earn money on FSCharter.
The window lists the jobs, that you previously agreed to on FSCharter's , which start at the current airport. Tick those you want to board (watch your aircraft's capacity!) and click [Board] to take them on board.
You can mix passengers with different destination airports on one flight. But you will be paid per job only once they reach their respective destinations.
You can scroll in the list of passenger groups with the mouse wheel.
Column
Description
Fuel Avail.
Available fuel as reported on FSCharter.
Board
Check box to (de)select jobs to board.
The Checkbox is deactivated if these passengers are already on board, e.g. due to boarding on the FSCharter platform, due to a previous boarding event, or because they did not disembark from the previous flight as they have not yet reached their destination. Currently, you cannot kick out passengers, which are already on board. Once on board you have to ferry them to their destination. This might change in future versions.
Pax
Number of passengers in that job.
From/To
Departure and destination airports of the passengers on the job.
Payload
Estimated passenger weight of the entire group.

Help: Opens a browser with this page.
[Open on FSCharter]
Opens a browser with details of the aircraft on FSCharter.
[Open Marketplace]
[Refresh]
Fetches up-to-date information from FSCharter. Use this if you added jobs on FSCharter's marketplace.
[Change Aircraft]
[Board / Refuel]
Boards the selected passengers and updates the aircraft's fuel level as recorded on FSCharter.
If you overbooked your flight, ie. there are not enough seats for all passengers, then FSCharter will abandon some passengers and charge you a fee.
[Sync Fuel]
This button shows up instead of [Board / Refuel] if there are no jobs selected or after boarding. The button will update the aircraft's fuel level as recorded on FSCharter.
For instance, use the button after you bought more fuel on FSCharter.
Some complex aircraft have their own, individually different ways of setting passengers / payload and / or fuel and might not react to the plugin's attempts to set payload and fuel. In those cases you would need to go into your 3rd party aircraft settings and change passengers and/or fuel manually.
In the case of fuel, the plugin verifies if it was successful in setting the fuel and will warn you if not: "Cannot set your aircraft's fuel level! Set fuel yourself to <amount>."
Note: Fuel will be evenly distributed across all tanks of the aircraft when synced with the FSCharter platform. This might result in imperfect load balance / trim. You can change the fuel distribution across tanks of your aircraft after clicking [Board / Refuel] or [Sync Fuel]. Pay attention that you do not accidentally increase the total amount of fuel too much: The plugin verifies that fuel on the plane never increases. If a fuel increase is detected, the plugin will reduce the total fuel amount again. But it will keep the relative ratio of fuel amounts across tanks so that your trimming effort should not be entirely lost.
After you boarded your passenger you are ready for takeoff!
After boarding, the Status window will continuously show information of your current flight. At some events, additional banner information is presented so that the most important information becomes visible even if the Status window is not open.
Column
Description
Flight Status
Valid - Everything is good, flight is being tracked just fine.
Invalid - The flight has been invalidated. The reason is stated under the status line.
Dist. Flown
Distance flown so far since the aircraft was selected, in nautical miles.
Fuel Avail.
Available fuel as reported on FSCharter.
Usually, this will be equivalent to the amount of fuel in your aircraft's tanks. It can differ if the plugin was unable to synch your aircraft's fuel with the FSC platform. FSC will invalidate your flight if this value falls below zero.
Fuel Cons.
Shows the amount of fuel consumed so far since the aircraft was selected.
Payload
is now the total payload aboard, in kilograms.
At takeoff, when the wheels leave the ground, the flight is also started on FSCharter and flight tracking starts. You are also informed by way of a banner message:
Button
Action
[Open on FSCharter]
Now, with an active flight, this button will open a browser with the flight tracking page on FSCharter, where you can follow your active flight on a live map.
During the flight, values (esp. Dist. Flown and Fuel Cons.) are continuously updated:
The flight is considered "landed" after touch-down and deceleration below 40kn:
The flight has not yet finished! Continue taxiing to your final parking position.
At your final parking position set your parking brake (standard keyboard command is [V]) and switch off your engines. Then only the flight will be fully completed and those passengers, which have reached their destination, disembark your aircraft. These jobs are marked "Completed" on FSCharter.
If some passengers have not yet reached their destination they will stay on board. The banner message will inform you about this fact.
After a moment, your status will be returned to Boarding and you will be presented with the available jobs at your current airport, so that you can board new passengers and start the next flight right away, if you want.
The following status are possible in the plugin. Bold are those commonly seen, when you have a todo:

brings you back to the so that you can make a new choice there.
If you don't have a parking brake (like in a seaplane) or you fly bush planes and disembark passengers with engines running, then you should set the "Allow boarding/disembark with engines on" (before selecting the aircraft). In that case, you are provided with a [Disembark] button here, or can use the "Disembark", which can also be assigned to a keyboard shortcut or joystick button. You still need to be on the ground and have zero speed.
If you haven't agreed any jobs from this airport yet, go to FSCharter's and do so. When done click [Refresh] to see your new jobs.
