Select Aircraft Window

Shows your FSCharter aircraft and lets you select one to fly with

Select Plugins > FSCharter > Select Aircraft from X-Plane's menu to open the Select Aircraft window:

Start a Flight

Aircraft list

You can scroll in the list with the mouse wheel or, once a line is selected, by moving the selection with the cursor keys.

Column

Description

Aircraft

Model, Type

Reg.

Registration, tail number

Airport

Current airport the aircraft is located according to FSCharter

Location

Exact coordinates of the aircraft according to FSCharter.

Your X-Plane user plane will be placed there when you [Select Aircraft].

"No Position" if the aircraft's location is unknown on FSCharter (e.g. because the aircraft is newly acquired).

"In Flight" if this aircraft is - according to FSCharter - currently on an active flight.

Seats

Available passenger seats on the aircraft

Boarded

Number of passengers already on the aircraft

Waiting

Number of passengers waiting at the current airport, ie. across all jobs accepted, which start at the airport listed in the Airport column. These are the potential passengers you can board there after [Select Aircraft].

Fuel

Fuel amount according to FSCharter.

You X-Plane user plane will be loaded with this fuel amount when you [Select Aircraft].

[Open on FSCharter]

Opens a browser with details of the selected aircraft on FSCharter

[Open Showroom]

[Refresh]

Refreshes the list, i.e. fetches it again from FSCharter. Use this if you updated information on FSCharter like accepting jobs, acquiring aircraft, or refuelling.

[Select Aircraft]

[Place Here]

This buttons shows up for aircraft not in flight and not positioned exactly where you are in the simulator right now. It allows you to place the FSC aircraft to the exact location you are in the simulator right now, both for newly acquired aircraft which don't have a position yet, as well as for existing aircraft. This will work only in the vicinity of the arrival airport and will cause a ground handling fee on FSC!

1st click will turn the button red and asked for a second click for confirmation.

2nd click on the red button "Confirm (Fee!)" will then try to reposition the aircraft on the FSCharter platform.

[Set Pos. on FSCharter]

This button will show up if the selected aircraft has "No Position". Clicking the button will open a browser with the page to position this aircraft on FSCharter.

Once the aircraft has been placed click [Refresh] here and the plugin loads the new information.

[Revert on FSCharter]

This button will show up if the selected aircraft is "In Flight". Clicking it will open a browser with the aircraft page on FSCharter where you can [Revert] the current flight if you wish.

If you did so, click [Refresh] here and the plugin loads the new information.

To start recording a flight on FSCharter, select an aircraft from the list and click [Select Aircraft]. This will validate if your X-Plane user plane is compatible with the selected FSCharter aircraft, and then open the for the next step.

The list presents you with all aircraft that you have access to on the FSCharter platform, the same as on FSCharter: .

This button is only available if there is no aircraft at all in your list. It opens the , where you can buy or finance an aircraft.

Start recording a flight with the selected aircraft. After validation against your X-Plane user plane the will open for the next step.
